About

Inclusive Work Culture

AnMed Health recognizes and values the dignity and individual differences of all people — including our teammates. We are committed to recruiting and retaining an employee population that is representative of the community we serve.

Since 2016, AnMed Health has hosted Project Search, a school-to-work transition partnership with Anderson County Schools Districts designed specifically for students with disabilities. To date, 80 percent of the program graduates are employed at AnMed Health or elsewhere throughout the County.

By celebrating the unique backgrounds and interests our employees bring to the workplace, we strengthen our relationships not only with each other, but with our patients as well. We offer three employee resource groups to engage teammates across our organization:

YoungPROs
Our mission is to engage young professionals at AnMed Health through leadership development, community involvement and social connection. YoungPROs is open to any employee of AnMed Health with an interest in professional development.

Recent activities include:
• Breakfast with Leadership
• Social networking events

VetNET

Recent activities include:
• Placement of flags on AnMed Health grounds for Flag Day
• Care packages to deployed service members
• Veterans Day observance event

Nursing Diversity Advisory Council
This collaborative between the Diversity and Language Service Department and the Nursing Practice Council enables the registered nurse at AnMed Health to practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles and promotes a nursing environment that does not discriminate based on age, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, language, physical or mental disability, socioeconomic status, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression.
