Vol-un-teer (vol'ɚn tēr'), n. a person who offers one’s time or services for some undertaking or purpose, as for charitable or community work, without pay or expectation of reward
Do you have a desire to make a difference in your community by serving others in a meaningful way? Are you looking for a constructive way to spend some of your time this summer? If so, you've come to the right place.
AnMed Health offers a summer volunteer program that provides high school students with a great opportunity to assist staff members in meeting the needs of our patients and visitors. Volunteers help escort and transport patients, run errands, restock supplies, perform clerical duties, and carry out other tasks as needed by the various departments that request assistance.
Please note, this program is not designed as a physician-shadowing opportunity, nor do we provide opportunities to view surgical procedures.
The application period for the 2016 Summer Volunteer Program is now closed.
