Classes

Learning to manage your diabetes is the first step to enjoying a healthy life. According to a study by the American Diabetes Association, people who participate in diabetes education classes have:

  • Increased knowledge and confidence in their ability to manage their diabetes

  • Improved blood sugar control

  • Better adherence to good self-care practices such as monitoring their blood sugar regularly, exercising, and following a healthy diet.

We offer a variety of classes for patients and their families. A doctor’s referral is required to attend our classes. If you have a referral, call (864) 512-2255 to make appointment for general classes. If you need to talk to a staff member for assistance in getting a referral, call (864) 512-4145.
