Wound Treatments

Your care starts with an evaluation of your wound and health history. Depending on your needs, we may recommend treatments such as:

  • Advanced wound dressings – Includes a variety of options to keep your wound safe from infection
  • Compression wraps Help control swelling
  • Debridement – Removes dead tissue to stimulate the growth of healthy cells
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) Delivers pure oxygen to your bloodstream to help your body heal a wound
  • Negative pressure wound therapy – Draws fluid out of a wound with a gentle vacuum
  • Offloading – Uses special devices and footwear to take pressure off an injured foot so it can heal
  • Skin substitute grafts – Uses tissue grown in a lab instead of skin from your own body

After any treatment, we'll make sure you and your caregivers know how to prevent wounds in the future. We'll also teach you how to change bandages, manage your pain and adjust your diet, if needed, to give your body the best chance at healing.
