Support Groups

AnMed Health provides a number of free support groups for patients, families, caregivers and friends. These meetings are a great time to discuss concerns, ask questions and share your feelings. Groups are led by health care professionals and may include a patient and family counselor, chaplain, an oncology nurse or a social worker. 

Surviving the Journey

Who it’s for: All cancer patients regardless of their diagnosis or treatment status. Patients, family members, care givers and friends are all welcome to attend. 
Time: Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Cancer Care 101

Who it’s for: Recently Diagnosed Cancer Patient to receive Cancer Education
Time: Every Wednesday 10 a.m. until noon, or every Thursday 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Ostomy Care Support Group

Who it’s for: Patients with who deal with Ostomy care. 
Time: Meets in 2019 at 3:30 p.m. on the following dates, June 18th, August 20th, September 24th, October 22nd, November 19th, December 17th
