Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney held his second annual Ladies
Football Clinic on Saturday, July 24 at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson.
There were 850 ladies in attendance who received instruction from the
Clemson coaching staff and a behind the scene look into Tiger football.
A portion of each registration fee paid was designated for breast cancer
research, and a dollar-for-dollar match for Dabo's All-In Team Foundation
doubled the amount. The clinic raised $ 23,000, which was split between Susan G.
Komen for the Cure and AnMed Health. Lauren Barnett, AnMed Health Community
Relations Coordinator said, "The Ladies Clinic provides AnMed Health the
opportunity to interact with hundreds of women about the importance of breast
cancer screening and prevention. Last year, thanks to the All In Foundation's
support, we saw remarkable growth in our genetic counseling program, which
allows residents to meet for free with an expert to learn more about their
cancer risk. We are very grateful for the dedication that Dabo and Kathleen have
shown to breast health and we were thrilled to participate again this year."
