We offer a wide variety of health programs to elementary, middle and high schools that can be tailored for individual schools and their students. Schools that have used our programs in the past have shown a vast improvement in their students’ overall health behaviors. If you are a teacher or counselor and are interested in a Doclink presentation for your students, please call Doclink Coordinator, Ashley Gelder, at (864) 512-5465 or email her at ashley.gelder@anmedhealth.org.

You can visit the Educators section of our website to learn more about the specific programs we offer. Or learn more about volunteering.

About Us

Doclink began in 1999 when AnMed granted a group of physicians the funding to start a community outreach initiative. After much research, the physicians decided to focus on substance abuse and trauma prevention for Anderson County youth. In 2001, after only a year in operation, Doclink earned the South Carolina Medical Association’s County Medical Society Service to the Community Award, a community service award given by the doctors’ peers statewide. In 2004, Doclink received its non-profit (501-c 3) status. In 2006, we surveyed hundreds of middle and high school students about their health related habits. After much research, Doclink programs have shown to improve the overall health habits of students in our community.

In 2014, Doclink went under The AnMed Foundation.

You can donate to Doclink online or mail your donation to Doclink c/o The AnMed Foundation 800 North Fant Street Anderson, SC 29621. Your donation to Doclink is tax deductible and will be used to help educate and promote healthy lifestyles to the youth in Anderson County.

Thank you for helping Doclink continue to make a difference in the lives of our youth in Anderson County!
