Becoming part of the AnMed Health family
AnMed Health’s employment models provide competitive benefits, CME allowances and relocation assistance.
Employed, outpatient physicians are part of the AnMed Health Physician Network, which includes nearly 50 practices and 18 different specialties. As a member of the network, practices gain buying power, help with physician recruitment and access to the EPIC Information system. Doctors stay engaged in decision-making through the network’s physician council. The council includes representatives from each practice and provides guidance on a number of issues from quality and safety to strategic planning to information technology.
Technology for today and tomorrow
Technology is an integral part of the way we provide care, from improving patient safety to making our operations more efficient.
Patient medical records have been electronic since 2000, and AnMed Health was the first in the state to implement PACS, a picture archiving and communication system that gives physicians and staff instant and remote access to radiology images. Our physicians use computerized physician order entry for all doctor’s orders – something only 14 percent of hospitals nationwide have been able to achieve.
This investment in technology is one of the reasons AnMed Health has been named one of the nation’s Most Wired Hospitals and Health Systems two years in a row. AnMed Health is also a show site for GE, welcoming doctors and hospital executives from around the world to see how we’re putting the latest technology to use every day.
Recruiting Process Testimonial
"My experience being a new physician at AnMed Health has been wonderful. Having previously been through the on-boarding experience, both through a private practice as well as with several associated area hospitals, I can certainly compare the culture I found at AnMed Health to those in the past. I can say with certainty that I have not felt as welcomed and appreciated anywhere more than I have here in Anderson. Through interactions and introductions with those throughout the hospital, clinic, and operating room, I have been inundated with colleagues and folks who are genuinely interested and welcoming to a new team member and are excited to embrace a new colleague in the area. Beyond simply being open, warm, and welcoming, the on-boarding experience has also enabled an easy and swift transition to building a practice and estabilishing a connection at AnMed Health and within Anderson. With the assistance of the on-boarding team and the clinical partners in the hospital and linic, the transition to starting a new and busy practice has been fantastic and is palpably better than I have ever experienced in the past. I am grateful for having the opportunity to work here at AnMed Health, and it is made all that much better with the assistance in transitioning by the on-boarding team. Thanks for everything!"
