AnMed Health’s employment models provide competitive benefits, CME allowances and relocation assistance.
Employed, outpatient physicians are part of the AnMed Health Physician Network, which includes nearly 50 practices and 18 different specialties. As a member of the network, practices gain buying power, help with physician recruitment and access to the EPIC Information system. Doctors stay engaged in decision-making through the network’s physician council. The council includes representatives from each practice and provides guidance on a number of issues from quality and safety to strategic planning to information technology.

Patient medical records have been electronic since 2000, and AnMed Health was the first in the state to implement PACS, a picture archiving and communication system that gives physicians and staff instant and remote access to radiology images. Our physicians use computerized physician order entry for all doctor’s orders – something only 14 percent of hospitals nationwide have been able to achieve.
This investment in technology is one of the reasons AnMed Health has been named one of the nation’s Most Wired Hospitals and Health Systems two years in a row. AnMed Health is also a show site for GE, welcoming doctors and hospital executives from around the world to see how we’re putting the latest technology to use every day.
