In order to provide high quality health care, hospitals must provide a safe environment for patients. That’s why AnMed Health physicians and staff work internally and with outside organizations, such as The Joint Commission and the South Carolina Hospital Association, to reduce and eliminate hospital acquired infections. 

AnMed Health believes in being transparent in our efforts to improve all areas of quality for our patients. All South Carolina hospitals are required to report hospital-acquired infections to the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). Hospitals that care for Medicare patients also report hospital acquired conditions to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
