Fourth Year Medical Students Acting Interns

The Family Medicine Residency Program hosts fourth year students to perform a 4-week long Family Medicine Acting Internship rotation from August through December. MUSC AnMed Health will begin accepting applications on May 1 for the upcoming academic year that begins in July. Students must have successfully completed the basic core clerkships (Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Surgery, Psychiatry, and Family Medicine) in order to be eligible. All approvals are at the discretion of the department.

Approval notices are sent via email and will include additional information and requirements.

Students Applying from Accredited U.S. Medical Schools
Applications from students enrolled in LCME- or COCA-accredited U.S. medical schools can be submitted through the Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) beginning each year on May 1. Application requirements will be available for students to review in VSAS by March 1. MUSC AnMed Health does not currently accept applications for clinical rotations from medical students who attend institutions that are not LCME- or COCA-accredited.
