Lymphedema Center

Lymphedema is a term used to describe chronic swelling of any part of the body. AnMed Health's Lymphedema Center manages this swelling, often called edema, with internationally recognized techniques including:

  • Complex decongestive therapy
  • Manual lymph drainage
  • Compression bandaging and garment fitting
  • Skin care
  • Education for specialized exercise program to aid in drainage

Lymphedema treatment varies depending on the patient and condition. Continuous management and therapy is the key to helping patients with lymphedema live a live a healthy, normal life.

Meet our specialized lymphedema therapist

Jeanne Nourse, OTR/L, CLT-LANA is a nationally board certified therapist who has been practicing for 25 years as an occupational therapist and for 15 years treating lymphedema. She is nationally board certified by the Lymphology Association of North America, a member of the National Lymphedema Network and also stays current in her Dr. Vodder School certification.
