The AnMed Health Voice Clinic provides evaluation, treatment and management of conditions related to hoarseness, shortness of breath, trouble swallowing, speech and other voice, language and airway disorders.
What conditions does the Voice Clinic treat? The AnMed Health Voice Clinic focuses on restoring the highest possible level of function for individuals of all ages. Conditions treated include:
- Hoarseness
- Shortness of breath
- Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)
- Chronic cough and/or throat clearing
- Vocal nodules, cysts, or polyps
- Vocal fold papilloma
- Vocal fold paresis or paralysis
- Swallowing disorder due to oral and/or pharyngeal cancer

About Our Provider
Kelly Caldwell, MA, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed speech-language pathologist who specializes in conditions related to hoarseness, shortness of breath, trouble swallowing, speech and other voice, language and airway disorders. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching (Music Education) from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Master of Communication Sciences and Disorders degree from East Carolina University.
Special interests include airway difficulties including tracheostomy, voice/airway trauma, performing voice (speaking and singing), acute and chronic swallowing difficulties, Parkinson’s disease, and voice and swallowing difficulties following cervical spine surgery.
The AnMed Health Voice Clinic accepts private insurance as well as Medicare, Medicaid and self-pay patients (physician referral required for insurance plans).
