Get Screened for COVID-19 Using E-Visits
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever), you can now be screened using AnMed Health E-Visits. You do not need to have an established primary care physician with AnMed Health to use an E-Visit.

An E-visit allows adults (age 18+) to connect online with an AnMed Health provider for quick and easy diagnosis of common minor health concerns for only $20. No need for an office visit — just complete an online questionnaire and you'll receive a treatment plan within a few hours.
Responses generally will be provided within four hours (though usually we’re much quicker) during business hours, which are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. For after-hours requests, we’ll respond the next morning.
Anyone age 18 or older can use AnMed Health’s E-Visit service. You do not need to be an established patient of an AnMed Health physician.
You can use E-Visits for a wide range of issues, such as:
- Back Pain
- COVID-19 Symptoms
- Insect stings
- Poison Ivy
- Red Eye
- Sinus Problems
- Swimmer's Ear
- Urinary Problems
- Vaginal Discharge/Irritation
For life-threatening illness or injury, call 9-1-1 immediately. E-Visits should not be used for emergencies.
If we can't provide a diagnosis and treatment plan through an E-Visit, you will not be charged. If you don't have a primary care doctor, please call us at 864.512.3748 and we will be happy to help you arrange an in-office appointment. You may also visit one of our CareConnect urgent care locations.
All you need is a computer with an internet connection. You can also access E-Visits with a mobile device using the MyChart App. An E-Visit does not use a camera, although you are welcome to attach images when you submit your E-Visit form.
Medications may be prescribed if the provider decides it is appropriate. Any prescriptions will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.
For life-threatening illness or injury call 9-1-1 immediately and care will be provided at the nearest hospital emergency department. Examples of symptoms that should be treated in the emergency room include:
- Chest pain or pressure
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Upper stomach pain or pressure
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Heavy or uncontrollable bleeding
- Falls resulting in major injury
- Suicidal thoughts
- Sudden or excessive pain
- Changes in vision
An E-Visit costs only $20 and is payable by credit card. You also can pay with your health saving account (HSA) card, however, in most cases, insurance will not cover an E-Visit and therefore the $20 will not apply to your deductible. Please call your insurance provider for specific information about your plan's coverage.
Patient confidentiality is very important to us, and you can be assured that E-Visits meet all HIPAA regulations and requirements. We use the latest health technology through our MyChart portal and Experian partnership to ensure your information is secure.
